Playing a pair of games in the Red Rock Conference Freshman Tournament last Saturday (February 1), the Coyotes of Heron Lake-Okabena / Fulda were defeated in a close game by Adrian / Ellsworth (32-25) and lost by a bigger spread to Edgerton (46-22).
Kelli Renneke scored most of HLOF’s points in the first game as she made a pair of three-pointers, a trio of two-point field goals and four free throws in a 16-point performance.
Combining for the other nine Coyote points were Brooklyn Fisher (four), Sophie King (three) and Hannah Kazemba (two).
