In exciting fashion, the Heron Lake-Okabena / Fulda B-Squad boys’ basketball team claimed a one-point overtime victory over Mountain Lake Area / Comfrey at Mountain Lake last Friday (January 10) by a final score of 50-49.
After a Tyson Cotter field goal had tied the game at 49-all with about a minute left in the overtime, Parker Murphy sank a free throw with three seconds left to give the Coyotes the one-point triumph.
The score was tied 24-24 at halftime and 47-47 at the end of regulation.
