Connecting on five 3-point shots — spread among four players — the Heron Lake-Okabena / Fulda C-Squad boys’ basketball team claimed a 35-29 victory over Mountain Lake Area / Comfrey in a game played at Fulda last Tuesday, January 28.
The Coyotes improved to 6-5 for the season with their third straight win.
Mason Bode scored nine points to lead HLOF’s scoring, while Gunnar McNab drilled a pair of 3-pointers and finished with eight points. Rylan Klein (six), Evan Madsen (five), Ethan Nielsen (three), Ethan Gilman (two) and Preston Christoffers (two) completed the Coyotes’ well-balanced scoring performance.
