Day two of the Section Golf Meet was on May 30 in Worthington. Scores from the second day of the Section golf meet were added to scores from day one to determine final results.
The Heron Lake-Okabena-Fulda Coyote girls team had earned their way to compete for the team trophy, and had six girls participating in the Section tournament. Seniors Lynneigh Vrooman and Tayler Warborg were joined by juniors Samantha Freking and Lexy Ruesch and sister Meakin and Elly Bang (freshman and eighth grade).
Freking led the Coyotes on day one, shooting 107, and she followed that with 109 on day two to bring her final score to 216. Also shooting 216, after knocking six strokes off on her day one score of 111 (105 on day two), was Warborg.
