Minnesota Youth Football League (MYFL) 3rd/4th grade football team finished the year with a 5-1 record. The team had victories over Worthington, Windom/Mountain Lake, Cherokee, Algona, and Spencer. The team lost to Otter Creek (Sibley).
The league consists of about 20 communities in Southwest MN and Northwest IA. The team will end their season on October 20 with a couple exhibition games at US Bank Stadium during the half time of games by amateur teams at the Pigskin Classic.
A special thanks goes out to HLO/F Youth Football Club director Danette VanderBeek for coordinating the whole season.
