Competing strong from start to finish and putting eight players in the scoring column, the Heron Lake-Okabena / Fulda B-Squad boys’ basketball team played well against a very good Southwest Minnesota Christian squad in a game at Okabena last Thursday evening, January 2.
The visiting Eagles earned a 32-20 halftime lead on the Coyotes and — after an evenly-played second half — left the court with a 60-47 victory.
The loss was HLOF’s fourth straight and dropped the B-Squad’s overall record to 4-6 for the season after a trio of consecutive wins in mid-December had put the team at 4-2.
