Fulda Elementary School students recently completed their Holiday Food Drive Challenge for Fulda Food Shelf, bringing in 1,340 pounds of non-perishable food goods. The second graders brought in the most food with 310 pounds. They will get a treat to enjoy at their classroom Christmas Party. Assistant Elementary Principal Grant Harms said that since the school-wide goal was met, some students will get to throw pies in some of the teachers’ faces right before Christmas break! This is the 5th year that Fulda Elementary School has done the Holiday Food Drive Challenge. Over those five years, 7,500 pounds of food has been donated to the Fulda Food Shelf.
