The regular monthly meeting of the Murray County Medical Center was held on Wednesday, March 22 in the hospital dining room.
Dr. Joyce Tarbet presented the medical staff appointments for approval. Initial appointment was Micara Anderson, CRNA – Anesthesia. Reappointments were: Michael VanderBosch, MD – Ophthalmology, Joyce Tarbet, MD – Orthopedics, Hyun Song, MD – Radiology, Efthimios Bakalakos, MD – General Surgeon, and Dustin Dierks, MD – Ophthalmology. Inactivation: Todd Greenberg, MD – Radiology and Bradley Thaemaert, MD – General Surgeon. Change of Status Brian Peterson CRNA – Anesthesia.
February was a busy month for the hospital as there were double the admissions over last year and 61 days more patient days than a year ago. Increases were also shown in Ortho patients, ER patients, ambulance runs, clinic visits, CT scans and laboratory testing.
The board approved the purchase of Rycan Revenue cycle Management software.
