“I loved you yesterday, I love you still, I always have…I always will.” This quote seems to sum up the love that permeated the dining room at Mapleview Estates on Monday, February 13th, as twelve couples gathered to share a Valentine’s Supper with their sweetheart.
Maple Lawn Senior Care Campus Activities Director Annette Kremer said that this year’s Valentine’s Supper was the fifth year the event has been held.
Of the twelve couples, eleven have been married to their sweetheart for sixty or more years. The twelfth couple has been married for 13 years. Totaled together, that is more than 673 years of marriage; and that is definitely something to celebrate!
