In memory of Adeline Nuehse

1925-ADELINE NUEHSE-2017

Adeline Ann Nuehse, the daughter of Nicklus Jr. and Anna (Zaharsky) Lamp, was born on June 17, 1925 in Lakefield, MN. She grew up near Brewster, MN and attended Dist. 86 Country School and Brewster High School. Adeline was united in marriage to Alex Weinandt Jr. on July 20, 1943 in Tampa, FL. After their marriage they lived in Royalton, MN and later New Hope, MN. Adeline remained at their home in New Hope after Alex passed away in 1970. Adeline was married to Otto Nuehse on January 31, 1987 at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church in Fulda. They then made their home in Fulda. Otto passed away in April of 2009. Adeline passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Fulda at the age of 92. She was a member of St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church in Fulda. She was also a member of the Fulda VFW and American Legion Auxiliaries. Adeline enjoyed gardening and flowers.

Survivors include her 2 sons, Alex Weinandt of St. Paul, MN and Gary Weinandt of Elk River, MN; 5 grandchildren, Laura, Gary Jr., Christine, Pamela and Alex; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; 4 brothers, Lester (Rosie) Lamp of Little Falls, MN, Leonard Lamp of Little Falls, MN, Clarence Lamp of Slayton, MN and Fred (Dorothy) Lamp of Royalton, MN; special neighbors, Lauryn and Joann Schumacher and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Alex and Otto, son, Douglas, granddaughter, Deena Weinandt, 2 great-grandchildren, Chase and Colton Weinandt-Jones and brother, George Lamp.

Funeral Services were held  at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church Fulda, MN at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 with Msgr. R. Paul Heiting officiating.  The organist was Dana Hogan. The soloist was Sheila Crowley. Interment at Hersey Cemetery Brewster, MN.
