1926-CLEMENTINE LEWIS-2017
Clementine Lewis, the daughter of Henry and Mathilda Lewis, was born on November 10, 1926 in Howard, SD. She grew up in Howard and lived with her parents. After both of her parents passed away she moved to Iona, MN to live with her sister, Mary Jean Moritz. In November of 1973 she began going to the Murray County DAC. On January 13, 1975 Clementine moved into New Dawn’s ICF in Fulda, where she lived she moved to her home in Fulda in 1995. Clementine passed away on Monday, October 29, 2018 at her home at the age of 91. Clementine was a quiet, soft spoken woman, who on occasion would talk, and had lots to say, often correcting staff. She enjoyed helping in the kitchen, baking, peeling potatoes and even doing the dishes. She loved sweets, coffee, KFC, and apple pie. Clementine always wanted to look nice, from her clothing to her hair and polished nails. She will be missed by her family and her New Dawn family.
She is survived by nieces and nephews and her New Dawn family. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother LeRoy Lewis and sister, Mary Jean Moritz.
Funeral Services were held at Totzke Funeral Home Fulda, Fulda, MN at 10:30 AM on Monday, November 5, 2018 with Msgr. R. Paul Heiting officiating. Interment at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery Howard, SD.
