1938-JAMES BARRITT-2019
James LeRoy Barritt, the son of James and Mabel Barritt, was born on February 27, 1938 in Lewiston, MT. He grew up near Fairfield, MT and attended school, graduating from Fairfield High School. LeRoy entered the U.S. Navy in February of 1956 and was honorably discharged in February 1962. LeRoy was united in marriage to Carol Elaine Keil on March 6, 1964 in Coeur d’ Alene, ID. After their marriage they lived in Power, MT until 1975 when they moved to Round Lake, MN. In 1976 they moved to a farm south of Fulda, MN. He owned and operated Barritt Construction for 40 years. LeRoy passed away on Monday, December 16, 2019 at the Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Fulda at the age of 81. LeRoy enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivors include his 8 children, Jerry (Jill) Keil of Bozeman, MT, Jackie Meier of Slayton, MN, Jody (John) Grundhauser of Great Falls, MT, Jim Keil of Houston, TX, Pat (Melanie) Barritt of Fulda, MN, Aaron (Marcy) Barritt of Slayton, MN, Susan (Ken) Klosterman of Fulda, MN and Kelly (Scott) Moldenhauer of Great Falls, MT; 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife of 51 years, Carol Barritt.
