In memory of Janine Paulzine

1965-JANINE PAULZINE-2017

   Janine Margaret Paulzine, age 51, of Fulda, died Thursday, April 27, 2017 at New Dawn, in Fulda, surrounded by her twelve siblings. She was born September 6, 1965, in Slayton, to Raymond and Margaret (Schettler) Paulzine.

   Janine was raised and grew up on the family farm south of Iona. She moved with her family to Alexandria in 1977 where she worked at the Douglas County DAC. In 2000, Janine moved to New Dawn “Third Street Chicks”, in Fulda, where she worked at the Nobles County DAC.

   She was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Fulda; The Special Olympics where she loved to compete in bowling and track & field; the After 5 Ladies Club; and Camp SOS. Janine enjoyed swimming and attending the Fulda High School sporting events. Everything was her favorite, and she never had a “bad” cookie.

   Janine is survived by her twelve siblings, Roger Paulzine, Worthington; William (Mary) Paulzine, Fulda; Carolyn (John) Penning, Wilmont; Jill Paulzine, Wilmont; Thomas (Sandy) Paulzine, Iona; Timothy (Barb) Paulzine, Iona;  Anthony (Sue) Paulzine, Iona; Mary (Ken) Stommes, Cold Spring; Lisa (Dave) Vang, Maplewood; Curtis (Cheryl) Paulzine, Monticello; Deanna Paulzine, St. Cloud; and Lee (Dana) Paulzine, Holdingford; many nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews; and great great nieces & nephews.

   She was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, Leo Eisenmenger; and a great nephew, Lincoln Ray Paulzine.

Funeral Mass was held at 10:30 am Monday at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church officiated by Monsignor Rick Colletti. Burial  in the Calvary Cemetery in Wilmont.
