In memory of Marilyn Schmit

1941-MARILYN SCHMIT-2018

   Marilyn Burdella Johnson Schmit was born on December 24, 1941 to Merl and Mathilda (Oberloh) Johnson.

Marilyn attended Fulda schools and graduated in 1959.  On April 30, 1960, she married LeRoy Schmit. They are the parents two children, Dawnn and Kim.

The family moved to Renton, Washington in the late 60s. Marilyn was employed as a bus driver and then later as a dispatcher for the school system. After retirement in the late 80s, they enjoyed living between their lot in Arizona and in Marysville, Washington. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and flower gardening.

She is survived by her husband, Leroy, two daughters, Dawnn Dunagan (Bill), and Kim Anderson; four grandchildren, Brian Dunagan, Justin and Sonya Anderson, and Kenney Hillis; and her great grandchildren; brother, Gerald Johnson (Louise), Fulda, and sister, Lori Ommen (Ricki), Fulda.

   She is preceded in death by her parents, Merl and Mathilda Johnson, her in-laws, William and Stella Schmit.
