It is time for the annual Fulda Wood Duck Festival and the festivities begin at 6 p.m. on Wednesday evening, June 15th, with the crowning of Miss Fulda. The public is invited to begin seating themselves at 5:45 p.m. in the gymnasium of Fulda High School for the Miss Fulda Contest. A reception will follow the congratulations to the royal court.
This year’s Fulda Wood Duck Festival theme recognizes the Fulda Fire Department for protecting our community for 125 years!
On Thursday, June 16th, the fun begins at 1 p.m. with a swim meet at the Fulda Pool. To give the cooks in your family a break, attend the 5 p.m. Supper in the Park! It will be served by the Raider Volleyball Team who is raising funds for new uniforms. After enjoying the delicious meal, stay for the 6 p.m. concert by Fulda’s own Big Band.
