Jerry’s Jottings 12-13-2017

A little snow and some ice coupled with 50 mile per hour wind and it feels like home on the prairie. Who knows what the rest of the season will be like? Some  predictions are for huge amounts of snow but we have had it pretty easy time so far. If your crystal ball is working better than mine let us know. We might make it to the actual start of winter. Some thoughts are we have had lots of rain this past summer and fall that it continue with lots of snow this winter. My bunions don’t work well and I nave lost track of the last foggy day predictions which will tell us when we will have a major snowstorm. Squirrel nests will indicate how cold it will be. The bigger the nest the colder the winter. I have a squirrel that’s helping himself to the foam in the dogs cushion when it being aired out I’m not sure what means. The dog doesn’t like it and the wife doesn’t like it because it makes a mess of foam crumbs in the house. I’m not capably of knowing what it means but I know it’s my fault.

Wife: “I have blisters on my hands from the broom.”

Husband: (trying to be playful) “Next time take the car, silly.”
