Merry Christmas to each and everyone of you. It has the potential of a white Christmas and may be more than what we had hoped for. It has been a fairly good fall but now it is winter and we have the opportunity to earn our Minnesota stripes. The picture of a person looking just like us comes to mind with our hat pulled down, the coat collar pulled up and a thick scarf wrapped around our head. Snow boots and ice cleats are good if you want to remain on your feet. All of this may sound tough but with all the flooding, fires and mayhem around the country we have it pretty good.
We had one good Christmas celebration this past weekend in Minneapolis. There was no pressure driving and everyone was there. No colds, no anything. In fact, no politics.

It had been snowing for hours when an announcement came over the University’s intercom: “Will the students who are parked on University Drive please move their cars so that we may begin plowing.”
Twenty minutes later there was another announcement: “Will the twelve hundred students who went to move 26 cars please return to class.”

Having good friends is like having a bunch of eggs…
You know that one or two of them will be slightly cracked.

Have a good week and a very Merry Christmas!
