The fair weather continues. We are just finishing the last of our tomatoes that we picked green and ripened in a bag. It stretched some of the joys of summer. The fine weather also stretched the mowing season another month. This Thursday is December 1 and the grass is green and the ground has not froze yet. We have had some snow that has disappeared and plenty of rain. Icy conditions are our big threat at this time. We have had some freezing but with the warm ground and temperatures it doesn’t last long.

While in Branson, Missouri, we had the opportunity to see the production Moses, which was the best show of all that we went too. The stage was over sixty feet wide and seating capacity is over two thousand, which is full for five days each week. They had horses in the aisles along with about thirty goats, several camels and forty people in the cast. The sidewalls came alive with different scenes some continuing so you had three-fourths of a full stadium which made you feel like you were sitting in the middle of the show. Everything looked real including the parting of the sea. It was a great show.

A bus load of politicians were driving down a country road when, all of a sudden, the bus ran off the road and crashed into a tree in an old farmer’s field. The old farmer, after seeing what happened, went over to investigate. He then proceeded to dig a hole and bury the politicians.

A few days later, the local sheriff came out, saw the crashed bus and asked the old farmer where all the politicians had gone. The old farmer said he had buried them. The sheriff asked the old farmer, “Were they ALL dead?”

The old farmer replied, “Well, some of them said they weren’t, but you know how them politicians lie.”

Attitude is what you do when the coach, parent, teacher or any supervisors are not looking.
