September is drawing to end with only one third left and the year has one fourth of it left. That is all that I care to continue with that line of thought. Monday’s rain was pleasant and just in time to keep the grass green and in need of mowing. There are storms forecast for our part of the state. May we fair well.
Last Tuesday, September 12, we went to Marshall to preview of The Vietnam War by Ken Burns that will play on public tv Sunday nights, I was also able to catch the first Sunday installment. It looks like my Sunday nights will be taken up for a couple of months. It’s been over fifty years but I can remember some of the politics that happened at the start of our public involvement. The film will hopefully explain the murky business of war. Our fear of communist advancement in the world put us right in the middle of a war.
