On the road again this week…and it has been fun to see some new scenery in Nebraska, Kansas, and Missouri. Dan and I have enjoyed getting off the interstate when we don’t have a deadline to get somewhere, and be able to see how other citizens of the midwest live. We certainly have been basking in the “southern” temps. of 75-85 degrees. It has been a wonderful treat to put on sandals and capris instead of all of that winter gear!
It is fun to read the signs in the towns, big and small, as we meander through. I always get a chuckle out of church signs. You know, the ones that are sometimes funny, and occasionally silly. Oftentimes they have a poignant spiritual point. They amuse me, but never cease to inspire me at the same time. Be encouraged with some of the signs that we have seen along the way, along with some that we’ve seen or read from days gone past. They grace the corners of small town streets, but often can be powerful reminders of bettering our daily lives.
