A fund raiser for the American Heart Association has been taking place at Fulda Elementary School. The Kids Heart Challenge kicked-off on Thursday, February 20th. Students in kindergarten through 6th grade have been doing basketball type activities along with Hoops for Heart and Jump Rope for Heart. The fund raising and activities continue through mid-March with a goal of $2,000. After just a week of activities, $809.38 had been raised on line. All the money raised goes to heart research and medicine for those with heart disease.
