Fulda’s Knowledge Bowl Team #1 has advanced its way through the Regional Meet by taking first place on Friday, March 10, in Marshall, Minnesota, after a solid win at Sub-Sections in Jackson, MN. The Team consists of two Seniors, Bailey Onken and Jason Van Dyke, and two Sophomores, Francis Piper and Sam Cheadle. In Knowledge Bowl, kids from seventh grade to 12th grade compete, facing questions that range from history and geography to math and poetry. Team #1 now moves on to State level competition in Brainerd, MN, to be held on April 6 and 7. Fulda Senior High brought 4 teams to Knowledge Bowl Sub-Sections. Team #1 was the only team to advance to Regional competition. The teams are coached by Mr. Aaron Cheadle.
