A SUMMARY OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE MURRAY COUNTY BOARD
June 28, 2016 8:30 a.m. Pursuant to notice, the Murray County Board of Commissioners convened with the following members present: Commissioners Moline, Jens, Kluis, Magnus and Thiner. Also present Aurora Heard and Travis Smith.
MSP to approve the agenda as modified.
MSP to approve consent agenda item 1.
MSP to approve ditch contractor bills for County Ditches No. 20, 46, 82 and Judicial Ditch No. 20 totaling $3,879.61.
MSP to set the Final Acceptance Hearing for the County Ditch 35 Improvement for July 15, 2016 at 9:00 a.m.
MSP to approve Pay Application No. 9 (Amended Final Payment) to Doom & Cuypers Construction, Inc. for the Swenson Park Bathroom Project in the amount $300.00.
MSP to approve amending the meeting minutes from February 3, 2015 to include the following language in resolution 2015-02-03-01: NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Ditch 35 Improvement Project is hereby awarded to Loo Con, Inc. for the bid price of $994,140.16.BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Ditch Authority intends to reimburse itself for the project costs with a bond to be issued at a later time.
It was moved by Moline, seconded by Jens and passed to approving having a camera used in the following: #2016-044 (CD87, 36-Lake Sarah Twp., District 2-Moline)
MSP to approve ditch inspection report for County Ditches No. 43 and 75, Judicial Ditch No. 14.
MSP to approve pouring a concrete sidewalk (between the hoop bank and Swine barn), that will be funded by a grant received by the fair board,
MSP to approve Life Line Screening to rent the 4-H Building in December.
MSP to approve installing sheep barn pens from Sydell Inc., to be funded in the total amount of $7900.98, by a grant received by the fair board and donations from the 4-H Clubs.
