Kara Damm is a teacher who loves being creative and making things. She also loves technology, which she says is a big help in her business Mama Bear’s Apparel. “I started making shirts for my family and thought it would be a fun hobby. I’ve always thought about owning my own business and this was the gift I was meant to share,” Damm stated. “After people started asking me to design shirts, I looked into starting my own business, and Mama Bear’s Apparel was born!”
Damm started Mama Bear’s Apparel towards the end of April 2018. In May, she went to her very first craft fair in Marshall, MN. “I quickly realized that my dream had become a reality. I launched my website shortly after the Marshall craft fair,” Damm said.
