The regular monthly meeting of the Murray County Medical Center was held on April 24 in the hospital dining room. Catherine Friesen, CNP was introduced as a new provider. She comes to MCMC with 20 years experience and will be seeing patients of all ages.
Dr. Joyce Tarbet presented the medical staff appointment. Reappointments include Neil Jesse, CRNA Anesthesia, Richard Rolfes, MD – Radiology, Matthew Chanin, MD – Radiology and Gerald Powers, MD – Radiology. Reappointment was Richard Jueneman, CRNA – Anesthesia.
Admissions continue to show an increase over last year as well as orthopedics, ER patients and ambulance runs. MRI scans, mammograms and ultra sounds were less than a year ago.
Capital expenditures were provider EHR software and implementation to replace the current clinic CPSI Medical Practice Electronic Medical record system. This will interact with the hospital and make it easier for providers to use as it has the same screens, order entry, etc.
