You’re invited to bring lawn chairs and make yourself comfy at the Friday, March 31st, Mike Lynch Minnesota Starwatch Party. It is scheduled to begin at 7:45 p.m. in the Fulda High School gymnasium.
During the indoor orientation, participants will get to know the constellations like The Big Bear, Orion the Hunter, Taurus the Bull, Gemini the Twins. Meteorologist Mike Lynch will be telling some of the great stories behind the constellations.
After the orientation, the Starwatch Party will move outdoors to the Fulda Raiders football field where Lynch will be providing two large Dobsonian reflector telescopes for viewing the constellations. He will also bring a video telescope that he takes celestial pictures with. He is hoping to demonstrate it towards the end of the Starwatch Party.
