Minneota Quadrangular – Thursday, January 31, 2019

The Warrior wrestling team was on the road again this past Thursday traveling to Minneota. They were part of a quadrangular event featuring Minneota, Fulda/MCC, Redwood Valley, and Windom/Mountain Lake.

In Duel 1: F/MCC Warriors faced off with Windom/ Mountain Lake Cobras

In the exhibition Denver Einck wrestled at 106 against Jared Hunter. Einck came up short lossing a 8-12 decision.

At 152,  Jesse Ray (Warriors) wrestled Cyrus Byam with Byam picking up the pin in 28 seconds.

The opening match at 106 pounds was forfeited by the Warriors.

At 113 pounds Landen Like-Bonnstetter wrestled against Bobby Saengosoth who went on to pin Bonnstetter at 1:55.

The Warriors forfeited at 120, 126, 132, and 138, 182, 220 and heavy weight.

Next on the mat 145 pounds was Rylan Behnke (Warriors) vs. Esteban Sandoval (Cobras)

Behnke battled all three periods and came out with a 15-13 decision to put points on the board for the Warriors.

At 152 pounds Christian Kuball (Warriors) fell to Alex Borsgard (Cobras) as the clock hit 2:48.

Ryder Henning, 160 pounds, (Warriors) was pitted against Emilio Garcia De La Cruz (Cobras) who earned the fall at 1:59.

170: Keigan Behnke (Warriors) vs.Osmar Roman Parada (Cobras) fell in a tech fall at 4:27.

At 195 pounds Koyer  Wendorff (Warriors) fell to Keith Swenson (Cobras) at 1:48

3 – Warriors
