On Friday night, the Fulda Raiders played host to the Mountain Lake Area – Comfrey Wolverines in a conference matchup. With having 4 players in double-digits, and the ability to work the ball around, the Wolverines came out on top with a 76-46 win over the Raiders.
Tyler Madison finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Payton Marquardt added 17 points (5 3-pointers) and 5 steals.
MLAC started the game off working the around the Fulda zone and using the short corner effectively. They were able to find the open make cutting to the basket and then were able to find their shooters on the opposite side of the court for some open 3-pointers.
Marquardt found Sam Cheadle under the basket for a nice reverse layup to get the Raiders on the board, but once again the Raiders struggled shooting the ball. Madison was able to drive to the basket and Marquardt found the distance from the perimeter for a couple of 3-pointers, but the Wolverines were able to score at will on the other end and held a 47-17 halftime lead over the Raiders.
