FULDA — Utilizing lots of speed and deception, the fleet-footed Mountain Lake Area Wolverines rolled to a one-sided 50-0 victory over the Raiders in high school football action at Alex Fisher Field last Wednesday evening, October 18.
Playing on the home field for the final time this season, Fulda was unable to score a touchdown and was blanked for the first time during the fall campaign, which saw the Raiders play competitively in most games.
MLA (5-3) scored 14 first-quarter points and then broke the contest open with 30 points in the second-quarter and held a commanding 44-0 lead at the half.
Neither team scored much in the second half as running time took over in the fourth quarter.
