A SUMMARY OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE MURRAY COUNTY BOARD
July 19, 2016 8:30 a.m. Pursuant to notice, the Murray County Board of Commissioners convened with the following members present: Commissioners Moline, Jens, Kluis, Magnus and Thiner. Also present Aurora Heard, Excused Absence: Travis Smith.
MSP to approve the agenda as modified.
MSP to approve consent agenda item 1.
MSP to approve consent agenda item 2.
MSP and carried that all claims as presented were approved for payment. The Chairman was authorized to sign the Audit List dated July 19, 2016 with fund totals as follows and warrants numbered 150139 – 150214:
County Revenue Fund 82,715.07
County Road & Bridge Fund 20,568.32
Ditch 177.21
Self Insurance 1,875.00
Sunrise Terrace 1,000.07
SAWS 148.00
Total 106,483.67
MSP to approve ditch contractor bills for County Ditches No. 20, 35, 43, 43A, 61 and Judicial Ditches No.3 (2), 7, 10, 14, totaling $39,884.25.
MSP to approve ditch inspector report for Judicial Ditch No. 19.
MSP Resolution 2016-07-19-01, Resolution Awarding Bid for Murray County Government Center Roof.
MSP to approve pouring approximately 20×60 concrete floor in the IP Building (approximately 1/3 of the building) in the amount of $4,300 from account code: 01-110-119-6610.
MSP to delay the buffer strip discussion until the July 26, 2016 meeting.
MSP to approve the Commissioner Vouchers for the period of July 3, 2016 to July 16, 2016.
MSP to appoint Commissioner Magnus and Commissioner Thiner to a Compensation Committee.
Open Forum/Public Comment – Elwayne Kuehl and Craig Jans spoke during open forum.
The meeting was recessed.
The meeting reconvened at the Food Service Building.
The meeting was adjourned.
