A SUMMARY OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE MURRAY COUNTY BOARD

August 27, 2019 8:30 a.m. Pursuant to notice, the Murray County Board of Commissioners convened with the following members present: Commissioners Gunnink, Jens, Kluis, Thiner, and Welgraven. Also present were Thomas Burke, Travis Smith, and Amy Rucker.

MSP to approve the agenda as modified.

MSP to approve the minutes from the August 20 meeting.

MSP to approve the ditch contractor bills for County Ditch No. 42 and Judicial Ditch No. 22 totaling $1,359.95.

MSP to ratify the fund transfers for July 2019

MSP to approve the 2019 tobacco license in accordance to Murray County Tobacco Ordinance No. 98-10-6-1 for M015 – DG Retail, LLC (dba Dollar General Store #20579), further moving that approval is contingent upon receipt of all required paperwork in the Auditor-Treasurer’s Office.

MSP to ratify Change Order No. 1 for the Sundquist Park Restroom Project as follows: Material & labor for dirt work: $5,021.00

MSP to approve ditch inspection report for Judicial Ditch No. 14.

MSP Resolution 2019-08-27-01, Career Force Day Proclamation

MSP to approve the Commissioner Vouchers for the period of August 11, 2019 to August 24, 2019.

MSP to approve a contract with Lamar to continue Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) advertising for one year on two billboards adjacent to US Highway 59, viewable by both northbound and southbound traffic, for a cost of $8,450, further authorizing the Board Chair to sign the contract.

Open Forum/Public Comment – There was no one present for Open Forum.
