Last Tuesday September 20 the Rebel Cross Country Team travelled to Madison, Minnesota for the Lac Qui Parle Valley/Dawson Boyd Invite. The meet started with the junior high girls 2800 meter run. Running for the Rebels in this event was seventh grade runner, Chelby Kesteloot. Chelby ran a time of 13:16 and scored 13th place overall.
Next up was the junior high boys 2800 meter race. The Rebels had seven junior high boys in this event. Coming in first for the junior high boys was Maverick Beckmann with a fourth place finish and a time of 10:57. Abel Piper was the next finisher for the Rebels with a time of 12:22 and Adrian Schwaller crossed the finish line was next. Adrian is a seventh grade student from Fulda and ran the race in 12:25. Ryan Risacher ran in with a time of 12:48. Following was Rylan Engelkes with a race time of 13:07. Wrapping up the junior high boys race for the Rebels were Dylan Tutt with a time of 14:14 and Isaiah Kathman with a time of 14:52.
