Murray County Commissioners Agreement with Western Community Action signed

The Murray County Board of Commissioners met on Tuesday, June 7. A  review of the minutes, warrants, and ditch bills were approved.

The board discussed payment of wages to a trainee for ditch viewer and concluded the bill would be assessed pro rated with the three ditches that were viewed.

The building committee recommended a fully-adhered 90mm EPDM roofing for the government center after consulting with the engineer. A bid opening will be July 11 at 10:00 a.m. with early August start and project completion by October 20, 2016.  The board also approved an $3,000 increase on the contract with Inspec for structural engineer to do a structural analysis to make certain the roof can support the weight load if the drains would malfunction. This is necessary to fulfill code requirements.
