Murray County Commissioners met for a regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, February 25th, 2020. After approval of the day’s agenda including additions, the Consent Agenda of February 18th, 2020 was also approved.
Approved were ditch bills as presented by Auditor/Treasurer Heidi Winter. She requested that a special meeting for bid opening be set regarding the Judicial Ditch 20A and Judicial Ditch 6 improvement project. March 19th, 2020, 10 a.m. was set for a meeting of the for bid opening, with the bid awards meeting for the Murray County Drainage Authority Board set for March 25, 2020, 9 a.m.
Evey Larson presented a report on the Minnesota Association of County Officers meeting that she had attended during the second week of February. She stated that she enjoyed the motivational speaker (a recent amputee) who encouraged her audience to not let situations consume you, but to attempt to put a positive spin on it, and look for joy in every day life. Larson attended sessions on Safety in the Workplace, a legislative district update, cyber security, the roll of the county recorder.
