Murray County Board of Commissioners met on Tuesday, September 5. Warrants were approved as presented.
The board approved a splitting of damages for a parcel on the County Ditch #61 Improvement project. The land was sold and divided into three parcels. in 2016.
Jim Reinert spoke to the board about the County Veterans Service Office Operational enhancement grant program. The resolution was passed. He continues explaining the T-1 line and an agreement with Frontier Communications to provide T-1 Line from the PSAP to the MnDOT tower east of Slayton. The cost is $525/month with $500 from the 911 grant and $25 from Law Enforcement. The current microwave point to point is not reliable to the Slayton or Tracy sites.
