Following approval of minutes and warrants, they gave their nod to on/off sale and Sunday liquor licenses for Brian’s Supper Club, Key Largo, LLC and Breezy Point Tavern, LLC, as well as, a resolution to participate in the 2018 performance measures program. Heidi Winter also requested extension of the bid opening for blue commercial building to be May 1st.
Heath Landsman appeared before the board with a request to purchase two outdoor warning sirens and new utility poles to use around Lake Shetek. Two quotes were received with Federal Signal Corporation being the lowest at $15,706. Landsman explained the request was a budgeted item and the current sirens are at least 30 years old. The request was granted with Thiner opposing the purchase.
