The Murray County Board of Commissioners met on Tuesday, July 11. An agreement was signed with ”City of Hadley for law enforcement for July 1 to December 31, 2017. The cost is pro rated for the term in compliance with other cities in the county at $10 per capita.
The board agreed to cancel the petty cash account for the sheriff’s department.
The Soil and Water District will be invited to present their actual budget at a regular commissioners board meeting.
County auditor/treasurer Heidi Winter. presented a quote from Peschges Tree Service for removing two trees at the government complex. She also requested the removal of two pine trees on the north side of the government center. The board granted the request along with trimming of other ash trees in the area.
A donation of $512 for the railroad track restoration at End-O-Line Park was accepted. The entrance fee to the park was waived for the Fourth and replaced with donations. Thank you to the donors.
