The Murray County Commissioners met in regular session on Tuesday, March 26th. Ditch bills along with auditor warrants were approved and discussion took place in regards to the next steps regarding ditch 22. The board set July 8th and 9th for 2020 budget meetings.
Commissioner Thiner questioned Auditor Winter what the next step was on CD 22. Winter replied there is a pending repair petition that was brought forward during one of the hearings. Ditch legal council, Kurt Dieter, is reviewing the petition with Winter hoping to bring this before the board on the April 2nd meeting. The original petition brought forward by the Meyer’s was voted down during the March 21st meeting due to the cost exceeding the benefits on that ditch system.
