Murray County Commissioners Elected officials report a busy year

The Murray County Board of Commissioners met for an all day meeting and into the evening on Tuesday, December 13.

The board had attended the annual meeting of Minnesota Counties last week and remarked it was one of the best they had been at.

A meeting was held on November 29 to review the 2017 budget. The levy will be set on December 20. Proposed is a 6.08 percent increase not an agreement of all the board members.

The warrants and ditch bills were approved for payment. At a meeting on November 17 the redetermination of benefits for Judicial Ditch #19 and County Ditch #6 were approved. Bolton and Menk were directed to proceed with the bidding and construction of the Improvement of Judicial Ditch #8
