A SUMMARY OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE MURRAY COUNTY BOARD

January 28, 2020 8:30 a.m. Pursuant to notice, the Murray County Board of Commissioners convened with the following members present: Commissioners Gunnink, Jens, Kluis, Thiner, and Welgraven. Also present were Thomas Burke, Travis Smith and Amy Rucker.

MSP to approve consent agenda item number 1 (January 21, 2020 minutes).

Open Forum: There was no one present for Open Forum.

MSP to approve ditch contractor bills for County Ditches No. 11, 43A, and 57 and Judicial Ditch No. 2 totaling $3,210.44.

MSP to approve the purchase of squad equipment and installation from Emergency Automotive Technologies for the state bid price of $9,365.20 (account 01-201-6660).

MSP to approve the purchase of a new radar unit for the new squad car from MPH Industries for $1,999.00 (account 01-201-6660).

MSP to approve the purchase of a Kenwood Viking VM-600 radio for the new squad car from Raycom for $3,576.39 (account 01-201-6660).

MSP to approve and authorize the Board Chair to sign the annual law enforcement contract with the City of Lake Wilson.

MSP to approve a Joint Powers Agreement between the State of Minnesota, acting through its Commissioner of Natural Resources, Murray County and Shetek Township for a water control structure in Section 6 of Shetek Township, contingent upon the final draft being reviewed and approved by County Attorney Travis Smith.
