A SUMMARY OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE MURRAY COUNTY BOARD
July 16, 2019 8:30 a.m. Pursuant to notice, the Murray County Board of Commissioners convened with the following members present: Commissioners Gunnink, Kluis, Thiner, and Welgraven. Also present were Travis Smith and Amy Rucker.
MSP to approve the agenda as amended.
MSP to approve the minutes from the July 2, 2019 meeting.
MSP and carried that all claims as presented were approved for payment. The Chairman was authorized to sign the Audit List dated July 16, 2019 with fund totals as follows and warrants numbered 159610 through 159684:

MSP to approve ditch contractor bills for County Ditches No. 22, 65(2) and Judicial Ditch No. 3, admin totaling $5,723.49.
MSP to approve Pay Application No. 3 to Sussner Construction, Inc. for the Courts Building Remodel Project in the amount $98,881.70.
MSP to accept a donation of $3,620.80 from the Fulda Community Growth Fund, restricted to offset costs for the 7-Mile Park Beach Project in the Parks Department.
MSP to approve the following Temporary 3.2 Malt Liquor License, contingent upon receipt of all paperwork received in the Office of the Auditor-Treasurer: Temporary 3.2 Malt Liquor “On Sale Only” License No. T-1 to Herbert Holtke American Legion Post 285 (Lake Wilson) for the date July 20-21, 2019 on the premises of 392 61st Street (34-Chanarambie Township); Temporary 3.2 Malt Liquor “On Sale Only” License No. T-2 to Herbert Holtke American Legion Post 285 (Lake Wilson) for the date August 3-4, 2019 on the premises of 456 40th Ave (11-Moulton Township)
MSP to approve ditch inspection report for County Ditch No. 79, and Judicial Ditches No. 2, 14.
MSP to approve Conditional Use Permit #1363 for Tri-State Power Sports to open and operate an ag service business in the Agriculture District (SE1/4 SE1/4, Section 19, Chanarambie Township) with the three special conditions recommended by the Planning Commission.
MSP to approve Conditional Use Permit #1364 for Mark Vogel to open and operate a salvage/junkyard in the Agriculture District (SW1/4 SE1/4, Section 14, Chanarambie Township) with the eighteen special conditions recommended by the Planning Commission.
MSP to approve amending Special Condition #5 of Conditional Use Permit #1184 for Phil Gervais (S1/2 NW1/4, Section 21, Mason Township) as recommended by the Planning Commission.
Open Forum/Public Comment – there was no one present for Open Forum.
MSP to authorize an expenditure of $74,322 to Duininck, Inc. for an overlay on Fairgrounds roads.
MSP to authorize an expenditure of $46,200 to Duininck, Inc. for an overlay on the East Lake Sarah Park.
MSP to approve hiring Timothy Kunselman as a regular full-time Parks Maintenance Worker effective July 30, 2019.
MSP to approve the Commissioner Vouchers for the period of June 30, 2019 to July 13, 2019.
MSP to authorize an expenditure of $22,580 to Duininck, Inc. for an overlay on the Seven Mile Park Roads.
