A SUMMARY OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE MURRAY COUNTY BOARD
November 22, 2016 8:30 a.m. Pursuant to notice, the Murray County Board of Commissioners convened with the following members present: Commissioners Moline, Jens, Magnus, Kluis and Thiner. Also present Aurora Heard and Travis Smith.
MSP to approve the agenda as modified.
MSP to approve consent agenda item 1.
MSP to approve appointing two Commissioners to the Ag-Society Board of Directors pursuant to the Ag-Society bylaws effective November 22, 2016, and the per diems are paid by the county.
MSP to approve that all five Commissioners are appointed to attend the Annual Ag-Society Meeting and the county pays the per diem.
MSP to approve appointing Commissioner Jens and Commissioner Kluis to the Ag Society Board of Directors.
MSP to approve the Certificate of Substantial Completion for the Government Center Roof, further moving to authorize the Board Chair to sign the certificate on behalf of Murray County.
MSP to approve ditch inspection report for Judicial Ditch No. 14.
MSP to approve denying ditch petition #2016-074, (CD 6: 13 Cameron Twp., District 2).
MSP to accept completed project No. SAP 051-602-019 and approve final payment to Astech Corp in the amount of $30,555.43 and to approve the County Coordinator sign the certificate of final acceptance form.
MSP to approve the Final Plat for the Smithback Addition for Lots 27-32 of Lake Sarah Summer Resort, Outlots L, M and N of Sarah’s Addition, and part of the vacated beach, the vacated public lands, and vacated township road, Section 22, Lake Sarah Township.
MSP to approve updated policy #718, vacation policy.
MSP to approve eliminating policy #820.
MSP to approve updated policy#706 insurance.
MSP to approve setting a public hearing for the 2017 fee schedule for 10:30 a.m. on December 27, 2016.
Open Forum/Public Comment- No members of the public were present.
MSP to approve and authorize the County Coordinator complete the Select Account Health Savings Account form.
MSP to approve and authorize the Board Chair and County Coordinator sign the United Community Action partnership transportation agreement for 2017. The meeting was recessed. The meeting was called back to order. MSP to approve the updated Committee appointment list.
MSP to approve the Commissioner Vouchers for the period of November 6, 2016 to November 19, 2016.
MSP to approve a special budget meeting at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday November 29, 2016.
M to transfer 1/3 of the wind production tax to a capital improvement fund. The motion failed for lack of a second.
