A SUMMARY OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE MURRAY COUNTY BOARD
November 7, 2017, 8:30 a.m. Pursuant to notice, the Murray County Board of Commissioners convened with the following members present: Commissioners Kluis, Magnus, Jens, Gunnink. and Thiner. Also, present Aurora Heard and Travis Smith.
MSP to approve the agenda as modified.
MSP to approve consent agenda item 1.
MSP and carried that all claims as presented were approved for payment. The Chairman was authorized to sign the Audit List dated November 7, 2017 with fund totals as follows and warrants numbered 154258 – 154326:

MSP to approve the ditch contractor bills for County Ditch No. 3 totaling $24,880.74.
MSP to approve ditch contractor bills for County Ditch No. 14 totaling $1,369.99
MSP to approve a subordination agreement with Dawn Noerenberg, for property at 70 Pioneer Trail (Murray County tax i.d. # 11-110-0050) for a Small Cities Development Program Loan, further moving to authorize the Auditor-Treasurer to sign the agreement on behalf of the County.
MSP to approve Pay Application No. 1 to Doom & Cuypers Construction, Inc. for the Lime Lake Bathroom Project in the amount $7,302.65.
MSP to approve the ditch inspection report for County Ditch No. 43M.
MSP to approve the ditch inspection report for County Ditch No. 40 and Judicial Ditches No. 3 and 19.
MSP to approve and authorize the Board Chair sign the 2018-2019 State of Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources Block Grant Agreement.
MSP to approve and authorize the Board Chair sign the household hazardous waste management program agreement.
MSP to approve a Minnesota Lawful Gambling permit for the Shetek Area Sportsmen’s Association to be held at Key Largo on May 19, 2018.
Open Forum/Public Comment – No members of the public were present.
MSP to approve tabling the Lime Lake Bathroom project change orders for two weeks.
MSP to table the racing association lease until members of the racing association can be present.
MSP to accept contract number 20176 and approve the final payment to W.M. D. Scepaniak Inc. for gravel crushing in the amount of $31,798.03 and to authorize Coordinator Heard to sign the certificate of final acceptance and County Board acknowledgment form.
MSP to approve purchasing a heavy duty battery charger in the amount of $799.99 and a jump starter in the amount of $399.99 from account number: 10-340-6480.
MSP to approve an economic development tax abatement policy.
MSP to set a public hearing for proposed changes to Murray County’s Business subsidy policy at 10:15 a.m. on November 28, 2007.
MSP to approve hiring Sandhurst Construction for adding two offices to the Food Service building in the amount of $7,500 and to authorize the Board Chair sign the agreement.
MSP to approve selling the extra brick from the Sheriff’s department addition.
MSP to approve setting a public hearing for the 2018 fee schedule for 10:15 a.m. on December 12th 2017.
MSP Resolution No. 2017-11-7-01, Resolution Regarding 2018 Murray County Health Insurance.
MSP to approve the Commissioner Vouchers for the period of October 22, 2017 to November 4, 2017.
