Murray County Board of Commissioners met on Tuesday, May 16. Several additions were added to the agenda. Heidi Winter Auditor/ treasurer presented the warrants and after the review were accepted for payment. Winter announced they had had a one day record set in her office by collecting 2.4 million in taxes on Monday, May 15. Approval was given to Painted Prairie Vineyard for a renewal of their liquor license from June 1, 2017 to October 31, 2017.
Howard Konkol, ditch inspector presented the the ditch petitions – Judicial Ditch 10 Slayton Township Section 12, Country Ditch 43A Belfast Township, Section 16, JD 20 Bondin Township Section 19, CD 42 Des Moines River Township Section 33, JD 7 Fenton Township Section 29, CD 61 Bondin Township Section 1 & 2, JD 7 Fenton Township Section 29, CD 46 Leeds Township Section 16 and CD 57 Chanarambie Township Section 11 & 14. Konkol said some repair has been completed. He was instructed to make site inspections during the repair.
