Murray County Commissioners Wildlife management acquires land in Skandia Township

The Murray County Board of Commissioners met on Tuesday, April 18. Warrants were approved for payment of $90,348.69.

Auditor/treasurer Heidi Winter requested the appointment of Rich Krols as additional alternate viewer for the redetermination of benefits of Judicial Ditch 14. The viewers assigned to this ditch are John Schueller, Kevin Vickerman, Luke Olson and Blake Gaberick – alternate.

Randy’s Floor and Covering submitted the low bid for replacing original carpeting in two rooms at Sunrise Terrace.

Renewal of liquor licenses were approved for On and Off Sale & Sunday license for Brian’s Supper Club & Tavern, Key Largo Restaurant and Bar and Breezy Point Tavern, LLC d/b/a Breezy Point Tavern.

Five bids were received and opened and read on April 11,2017 for the Judicial Ditch #8 Improvement project. Loo Con, Inc. of Wilmont, MN submitted the low bid of $378,212.14, eight percent below the engineer’s estimate and one percent below the second low bidder. David A. Swenson Construction, Slayton is the subcontractor for the seeding.
