Public Notice
The Murray County Planning Commission will hold public hearings on Thursday, September 27, 2018, commencing at approximately 5:30 pm in the County Commissioner’s Meeting Room, Murray County Government Center, Slayton, MN, to take public comment and act on the following requests in the order listed below:
1. Applicant: Doug Kircher
Property Location: Owanka Coded Lot 56, Section 29, Shetek Township, Murray County
Application: To use alternative elevation method to address floodplain violation in the Flood Fringe District of Lake Shetek.
2. Applicant: Dustin Schuld
Property Location: 24.5 acres SW1/4 NW1/4, Section 30, Chanarambie Township, Murray County
Application: To expand an existing feedlot by constructing a total confinement barn with a manure storage pit in the Agriculture District.
3. Applicant: Steven & Teresa Cooling
Property Location: Lot 26, Block 4, Forman Acres, Section 6, Murray Township, Murray County
Application: To use alternative elevation method to elevate a structure in the Flood Fringe District of Lake Shetek.
4. Applicant: David A. Swenson
Property Location: NE1/4, Section 13, Chanarambie Township, Murray County
Application: To construct and operate a self-storage facility in the General Use District of the Shoreland District.
