A mutual aid training drill was held for emergency services personnel at Fulda High School on Saturday morning. Agencies involved in the drill were Fulda Police, Fulda Fire Department, Fulda Ambulance, Worthington Ambulance, Slayton Fire Department, Iona Rescue, and the Murray County Sheriff’s Office.
In preparing for the drill, volunteers and emergency service personnel met in Fulda High School cafeteria to learn what the drill would involve. The scenario was a school shooting which resulted in various degrees of injuries, casualties, and a set fire.
Law enforcement, emergency medical services, and fire department personnel worked in harmony to locate and aid victims and put out the fire.
