Beginning on Tuesday, November 26th, gaining entrance to Fulda Elementary School is being allowed when a person approaches the new west doors, standing near the security camera entry system and pressing the button. A buzzing sound notifies the person that they may open the door and proceed to the office.
This new entry system provides for the safety and security of the students.
Along with the installation of the new doors and security systems, the school board has also changed the procedures for picking up students:
• In the morning, students will still be allowed to enter through the playground door just like they have in the past.
• At 8:05 a.m., all doors to the school will be locked. The only way to enter the building is to buzz in at the new main entrance.
