Fulda Public Schools employs several paraprofessionals who help with instructing students during each and every school day.

Throughout the State of Minnesota, more than 20,000 paraprofessionals  provide valuable educational services to the students that they serve. That is why Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton has issued a proclamation declaring the week of January 23-27 as Paraprofessional Recognition Week by the Minnesota Department of Education.

The proclamation states, “The support and services provided by paraprofessionals are integral to student achievement, resulting in more effective Minnesota schools; and the State of Minnesota and the Minnesota Department of Education are committed to excellence in education and recognize the important role that paraprofessionals play in ensuring educational success.”

Paraprofessional provide support for instruction, student activities and work with individual students to aid in educational success. They also provide supervision to students in the lunch room, on the playground, and in school hallways.
