The Treasury Department has this week honored the Citizens State Bank of Fulda with a special citation for over quota sales of U.S. Savings Bonds during 1965.
Tuesday evening there was an accident, south of Fulda, between a pick-up truck and a panel truck. One driver is in critical condition in the hospital.
An open house will be held on Sunday, September 11 at the Iona Presbyterian Church in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Worden on their Golden Wedding Anniversary.

The young people who canvassed the town Tuesday were not working for a politician, nor were they asking for money. Instead they were passing out surveys to help the City of Fulda in applying for an improvement grant.
A new six-mile loop trail now connects Murray County’s End-O-Line Railroad Park and Museum with Lake Shetek State Park.
The German band “Trio Romanos” will be playing at the Fulda Community Center/Legion Hall on September 19th.
A new option for high school students was presented to the school board by Principal Dale Kirsch.
Project Cope pre-school begins September 9th.
Congratulations goes out to the Fulda Post Office for 100 years of Rural Free Delivery.
